The Hamptons reward slow, scenic drives. Skip Montauk Highway when you can:
- Further Lane (East Hampton) — the classic. Tree-lined, smooth, and short — a warm-up for the ocean. - Ocean Road → Gin Lane (Southampton) — the Bentley-and-hedges corridor. Drive it slow. - Old Montauk Highway (Amagansett → Montauk) — the roller-coaster ocean-view stretch. This is why you rented a convertible. - Sag Harbor Turnpike → North Haven — quiet, sweeping, gets you to the ferry with time to spare. - Napeague stretch — dune grass on both sides, the Atlantic to your right. Sunrise or golden hour only.
Weekend rates run Friday to Sunday (or Friday to Monday for a small premium). Delivery to any Hamptons address is included on 3+ day bookings from our NYC/NJ/CT service area. Roadside assistance is included, and valid insurance is required on every rental — we'll guide you through approved coverage. The refundable security deposit is held on a credit card and released within 48 hours of return.
